Chloe MacMillan, Area Development Manager, Parkinson’s UK Scotland
I have worked for Parkinson’s UK in Scotland since 2007. I am home-based and live in Dunblane. My role involves ensuring all people affected by Parkinson’s across Scotland have access to the support and activities they need in their local areas. This includes developing opportunities for peer support, physical and therapeutic activities and also bringing people together with an interest in research. We have a fantastic team of volunteers involved in the development of the Glasgow Research Interest Group and we have received amazing support from local Parkinson’s researchers and the Parkinson’s community across the West of Scotland. It is a great pleasure working with the group and I very much look forward to seeing the group flourish.
